At Amirrah, our mission is to ensure that every individual, parent & caregiver has access to compassionate and dignified support through the most sensitive phases of life. Today, we are proud to take a significant step forward in that mission.
We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Seek Anitya, a mental-health organisation committed to offering accessible, trauma-informed therapy across diverse emotional experiences in India. Together, we are expanding the reach of affordable, confidential, high-quality mental-health services for individuals and families navigating sexual and reproductive health (SRH) journeys as well as early parenthood.
Why This Partnership Matters
Sexual and reproductive health experiences — including sexual trauma, difficulties with sexuality & intimacy, difficult medical conditions during pregnancies, miscarriages, abortions, childbirths, and early parenting — are deeply personal and emotionally complex. Yet, emotional support during these moments is often overlooked, inaccessible, or burdened by stigma.
Through this partnership, Amirrah and Seek Anitya are bridging that gap.
We believe that emotional wellbeing is not optional. It is a fundamental part of living with dignity and no one should have to manage grief, fear, trauma, anxiety, or relational stress alone.
What This Means for Our Beneficiaries
This collaboration allows us to offer beneficiaries something deeply needed and long overdue:
Free, confidential therapy sessions
Beneficiaries can access individual or group sessions with certified mental-health professionals — at no cost, without stigma, and with full confidentiality.
Specialised support across SRH and early-parenthood journeys
Therapists trained in sexual, reproductive and parenting-related distress will provide tailored sessions for those experiencing:
Trauma or abuse related to sexual experiences
Difficult reproductive events or medical conditions
Trauma linked to childbirth
Grief and loss, including miscarriage or abortion
Stress, anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm during pregnancy or postpartum
Relationship strain during caregiving transitions
Compassionate, trauma-informed care
Therapy will prioritise safety, empathy, and understanding. Our shared approach centres on meeting individuals where they are — without judgment or assumptions.
Strengthened families and communities
By supporting the emotional health of individuals and families, we are nurturing healthier relationships, and ultimately, stronger and more resilient communities.
How the Partnership Works (Modality)
Our collaboration with Seek Anitya is built on clarity, accessibility, and high standards of care:
1. Simple registration process
Beneficiaries can register directly through a secure online form. Once completed, member of team at Seek Anitya will reach out to schedule a clinical screening.
2. Tailored matching
Post this screening, individuals or couples will be connected with a certified therapist who specialises in their area of concern — ensuring the right support from the very first session.
3. Flexible session formats
Sessions are conducted virtually or in-person to maximise privacy, convenience, and access for beneficiaries across regions and preferences.
4. Ongoing support & follow-up
Beyond one-time intervention, the partnership ensures beneficiaries receive continuous emotional support based on their needs and comfort.
5. Shared commitment to ethics and safety
Both organisations uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, data protection, and trauma-informed practice.
Our Shared Vision
With this partnership, Amirrah and Seek Anitya envision a world where emotional health is recognised as an essential part of the sexual, reproductive and early parenting journey — not an afterthought.
A world where young people can speak openly about sexuality and ensure safety. Where trauma can be met with care, not silence. Where parents don’t have to heal or grieve alone. And, where support is free, accessible, and stigma-free.
We are grateful to our partners at Seek Anitya for joining us in this commitment. And we look forward to reaching even more individuals and families who deserve gentle, timely, and meaningful emotional support.
