The promotion of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) remains especially crucial in developing countries due to the disproportionally high rates of suffering experienced by women from unintended pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections and diseases, maternal disability and death, gender-based violence, and other problems related to their reproductive system and sexual behavior.

As such, Amirrah's efforts are focused in regions of India and Kenya - both countries that exhibit inescapable concerns in relation to the above-mentioned.
